The deadline is approaching fast
Involved in the supply chain for tobacco products? Since the 20th May, 2019 all businesses have need to ensure they have the correct tools and processes in place to comply with the Tobacco Products Directive. While the compliance is now in place, if you haven’t completed your TPD compliance yet, now is the time to do so. The clock is ticking to secure the funding for the TPD investment companies have to do to be compliant.

From the packaging line, throughout distribution and until the point of sale, every part of the supply chain needs to play their role to ensure compliance.
All tobacco products need to be marked with a unique identifier i.e. 2D dot codes.
Movements of these products need to be recorded throughout the supply chain and the information collected, transmitted to an independent provider.
